The reason this photo was eye opening was because it shows the racism of that time and that colored people could not even drink the same water as white people. This photo really shows society and people that when this was going on how bad it was and how the world has to change. I personally think this photo Is import for people to look at in everyday life to see how bad it was for colored people back then so it never happen d’s again
